My name is Ethan Gagnon. I live an hour northeast of UNE on the coast (Bath, Maine). I am a Medical Biology/Pre-Med major, public health minor with interest in pursuing medical school to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. At UNE, I am a member of the Pre-Med Club and work at Pickus Laboratory as a lab assistant with immunocompetent and immunodeficient mice and rats.

Having lived in Maine all my life, I’m well acquainted with the region and find enjoyment throughout many activities my state has to offer. I am a swimmer and partake in swimming at the pool that I lifeguard during the summer, lakes that I live around, and sometimes the ocean. I also like to kayak, hike, run, socialize, and am a huge foodie.

During the summer, other than at work, you’ll find me at the beach (there are many around the Mid Coast region of Maine), going for a run around the trails that encircle my town, at friend’s houses, going for car rides, or sitting in the sunshine.
